It all started with an English breakfast… A few It all started with an English breakfast… A few months into our relationship, Ze’ev and I were in England, and before we flew I suggested we share a breakfast, because I knew it’d be HUGE and that I’d never finish it on my own. His mind, however, went elsewhere (taking him back to a bad experience), and he hit slightly defensive “Ze’ev doesn’t share food!” Style. So instead of insisting or trying to convince him, I let it go - it’s not a big deal & I knew it’d only stress him further. When we were there & ordered our breakfast a while later, it just naturally happened naturally. We both tasted from one another’s food, he finished mine (as well as his) & we were both satisfied. From that moment on Ze’ev started to LOVE the concept & we rarely ever NOT share our food now. Btw, this happens with other things as well - the initial response was negative, but slowly (especially once experiencing it) he warmed up to it. The moral of the story? + Pushing only pushes them away & can cause unnecessary blow-ups + Let them come to the decision on their own + SHOW them how great something can be, don’t just TELL + Don’t make a big deal of nothing & you’ll likely end up “getting” what you want + Sharing breakfast is AWESOME! The primary reluctance to something in your partner usually has nothing to do with you, it’s just hard to open up to new things, especially if they had a bad one with someone else - it may be obvious to you it’s different with you, but not for them. So be patient & give them time — it’ll be WORTH IT. #sharingbreakfast #relationshipgoals #relationshipissues #dramafreerelationship

Loneliness has little to do with being single. If you’re single and lonely, it means you’re not filling your life properly or learning to enjoy your own company. Loneliness boils down to connections—real, meaningful connections. It’s about your relationship with yourself and the people around you. Singles aren’t lonelier, they’re just lonely alone. People in relationships can be just as lonely, they’re just lonely together. Being in the wrong relationship can make you feel lonelier than being single. A relationship that doesn’t fulfill you, that doesn’t give you what you need, or with someone who doesn’t care enough, can amplify loneliness. Often, we focus too much on one romantic relationship, neglecting other connections and ourselves, which makes us even lonelier. Ask yourself: Are you too focused on yourself? Are you there for others? Or are you just there with others for yourself? The connections you have with others exist and are strong because you love those people. To connect with yourself and feel less lonely, you need to learn how to love yourself and who you are. Incorporate & integrate all these 5 methods into y Incorporate & integrate all these 5 methods into your life, as they are all crucial for your journey. Each method adds value of its own; they all feed off each other & make them stronger & better when combined. 1-HOBBIES: Choose activities you’re good at & enjoy, whether it’s already in your life or isn’t & wish to nourish it. Then start making & scheduling for it, no matter how hectic your time gets. It’s important & should never be perceived as something you can skip like nothing. 2-PASSIONS: When you’re single, most likely your passion, which is usually your career/side-hustle, is your baby. Spend time finding your passion, playing around with it, figuring it out, what it means to you and where you wanna take it. Then, slowly take one step at a time to develop and grow it. 3-SKILLS: If you want to get better & good at something, you need to spend time doing it - both with the skill & your time alone. You need to practice and exercise your abilities daily, at least in some way, shape or form. You need to track your progress and persevere through the hard, lazy times. 4-EDUCATION: A big aspect that differentiates successful people, is that they continue to broaden their horizons; they pick up a book instead of binge-watching another show. They take more courses to develop skills & progress in their field. They’re curious & don’t let things just pass over their heads. 5-SELF DATES: Spending valuable time with yourself isn’t only measured by productiveness; it’s also important to have FNU, enjoy the time you spend alone. The main reason you enjoy your time with family & friends & wanna spend it with them is cause you do interactive & fun activities together. Think of this as a recipe; it will give you the ingredients you need to learn how to spend QUALITY time with yourself - and you need to find the right measurements for you. Don’t be afraid to just go for it & try. Do some trial & error bc at the end of the day, that is how you learn & find the right amount for you. I think you’ve all misinterpreted the saying. E I think you’ve all misinterpreted the saying. Even when you feel like you least expect it, it’s often still in the back of your mind. Often what you consider as “least expecting it” is not believing that it will happen or feeling like it will never happen for you. “Least expecting it” isn’t about what you fill your thoughts & beliefs with. While it’s true that you need to believe in something for it to happen, least expecting it is more about filling your life with meaningful pursuits & focusing on things other than what you’re waiting for. Least expecting it is when you create a life worth living regardless of your relationship status or whether or not you find someone. When your life as a single person is good enough that you don’t feel the need for someone to complete it, but instead see them as an added bonus - is when you’re truly least expecting it. It’s about focusing on what you do have & making the most of it, instead of dwelling on what you don’t. You shouldn’t spend your days waiting for something to change or for someone to come into your life. Instead, fill your days with activities and passions that make you happy & fulfilled. When you’re deeply engaged in living your best life, you naturally stop obsessing over what you lack. This shift in focus & energy creates a more attractive & positive vibe around you. When you’re busy living fully, you’re more likely to meet people who share your interests & values. You’re also more likely to attract someone who is genuinely interested in you for who you are, not just because you’re searching for them. When you least expect it, you’re not actively searching or stressing about it. You’re living your life to the fullest & that’s when the best things often happen. It’s about enjoying your own company & pursuing your dreams & passions without the constant pressure of finding someone. Not only because it got me away from screens & the real world, and moving my body- but also because it’s just simply SERENE. No bells & whistles, no over the top or complex exercises or solutions. Nature is free, it’s all around us - and there are always options that are easy to access & simple to arrange. You don’t need much. Yet, it’s so often overlooked in favour of thrilling adventures & stimulations, or spending MORE time in front of screen. So is it any wonder you’re struggling to connect with yourself & people around you? Why you’re always feeling so anxious & dissatisfied? Going out to walk in nature not only allows you to experience breathtaking views, but also the tranquility- the peace of mind, and finding joy in simplicity. …it was the opposite; by embracing my single per …it was the opposite; by embracing my single period and making the most of it. I spend my fair share of time being miserable over my status and comparing myself to my married sisters & friends, wondering “why me?” and “why am I the one who’s always alone?” I wasted a huge chunk of my singlehood trying to avoid & run away from it, feeling like I was being punished. I counted the days ‘till it was over, I fantasised about it non-stop. It took me a long time & self pity to understand that all I was doing was making it worse. I was too desperate to make anything work, all I did was chase men away from menu chasing them. I didn’t believe I really deserved someone to love me, cuz I didn’t love me - so how could anyone else, right? I didn’t value myself, cuz I had no self worth - so why would anyone else respect & value me, right? It wasn’t until I decided to actually LIVE in my current status & make it fulfilling, that I finally realised that what I needed most was to love & value myself first. And I did it for me - so I would wanna be me & in my own life, not so someone else will want me. I focused on embracing myself & my singleness, and feeling whole alone & in my life. Then, I got my bonus. But more than that - I was at a healthier, better vantage point to build a stable relationship with someone else, one that I don’t lose myself in & that I’m not dependent on.
